"Everything feels like too much right now"
"People expect me to be ok, but I'm not"
"I'm overwhelmed and don't know what to do"
Life can feel really heavy sometimes, or even a lot of the time. Maybe you've lost someone or something dear to you. Maybe your life has completely changed and you're feeling stuck. Whatever you're going through, you don't need to carry it alone. I offer a space where you don't need to be okay, or hold it together. All of the pain, anger, confusion, and clunkiness is welcome. Together, we can help you find stability and a way through. I’m Amber, a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering online support on the Sunshine Coast BC, across BC and parts of Canada.

The Wonderer
A wonderer can be thought of as someone who moves through life with curiosity and openness, even when the path is uncertain.
I am drawn to the idea of the wonderer. As a counsellor, curiosity is at the heart of what I do. It’s the foundation of deep listening, understanding, and exploring the rich, complex stories that each person brings.
Curiosity invites us to hold space for uncertainty without rushing to judgment or quick answers. It encourages us to ask questions and truly understand ourselves and the world around us.
In life, being a wonderer means embracing the unknown with an open mind and a gentle spirit. This allows us to become active explorers of our own lives, honouring each twist and turn. It creates room for possibility, and takes us to places unexpected and otherwise undiscovered.
